We hear about diaper liners all the time, but what are they really for? Kanga Care makes a diaper liner that is washable and fits between the inner gussets of our all in one diapers. Is it the purpose of a diaper liner to make it easier to deal with “solid waste,” or to protect the diaper? It is actually both!

Protect Your Investment

We recommend diaper liners to protect the diapers from the effects of frequent use of diaper creams. Cloth diapers are made for absorbency; liners are made to protect the diapers and preserve that absorbency. Whether you use one size cloth diapers, like Lil Joeys and Rumparooz, or our pre-folded diapers, all diapers are made for absorbency; diaper cream, on the other hand, is made to prevent liquid from getting to baby’s skin. If the diaper absorbs the diaper cream, it will be less absorbent. Even if diaper creams claim to be safe for cloth diapers, don’t believe it!

Diaper Liners Make a Messy Change a Bit Easier

Anyone who has had to change really messy diapers knows it is easier to rinse a diaper liner in the toilet than to have to dunk the whole diaper. Our liners are made from 100% hypo-allergenic microchamois. They are the perfect size to fit in between the inner gussets of all of our one size cloth diapers. Why not just use disposable liners? One big reason is that if you do, human feces will end up in the landfills; and landfills are really not designed to handle it. By using washable liners, the feces ends up in the septic tank, or sewer, both of which will make sure that the bacteria in the feces are destroyed before they can get into the ground water.

Easy to Use and Hypoallergenic

The Kanga Care liner come with a tag to indicate which side should go down; when the tag is down, the correct side of the no-pill microchamois will be against your baby's skin. We take pride in our diapers; we make them both adjustable and sturdy so that they will last for as long as your baby needs to use them. We make our washable liners of the same hypoallergenic material that we use for the inner layer of our Lil Joey and Rumparooz diapers, so you know they will never cause your baby to break out in a diaper rash. Kanga Care understands that no matter how careful you are, there will be times when you may occasionally need to use diaper creams; when you do, please remember to use our hypoallergenic washable diaper liners.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality cloth diapers available. We strive to treat each customer like family and are proud to be reducing landfill waste every day as we work to make our planet a healthier, happier place.
