I bought several to get my three year old ***** trained completely, since he was having an accident almost every time he went after a regression. I did not weigh him before purchase, but based on the recommended size, he should have been squarely in a small. I bought smalls and mediums just in case. When they came in, he could fit smalls, but it was tight, and difficult to remove even with my help. He fit best in mediums. For reference, he has a small posterior and waist, and I would say average thighs. Fortunately, he got through the regression and happened to night train relatively quickly after using these, though I can't be sure if it was due solely to these or due to the fact that he was almost ***** trained at two and then regressed. I tried them on him a couple of weeks later, and he had outgrown the mediums as well due to it being too tight for easy removal, at 32.4 lbs. Overall performance was good. Held most to all of an accident, keeping in mind that they are for a single accident and NOT diapers. My son did usually inform me when he had an accident. The interior is soft while new, and I did not notice much loss of that softness in the approximately 3 months they were used.
I've ***** trained two little boys in the last year. I have some others that I love, but when I started ***** training little brother I bought these due to having the x-large size. And I fell in love! They feel just like undies but have the absorbancy that I wanted. They fit well under pants and from what I can tell haven't shrunk like some of my other trainers have. They won't hold a full night ***, but that isn't what I bought them for so it works. I only wish the bigger sizes had snaps, but both my boys **** trained easy so I haven't had to deal with that with these trainers. And even then I would only take a quarter of a star off for that.
