Kanga Care LLC acquires GroVia LLC cloth diaper brand and manufacturer

A New Chapter :: Kanga Care + GroVia!


As many of you may have heard, GroVia - a brand that’s been a staple in the cloth diapering world for nearly two decades - is officially joining the Kanga Care family. Founded by Kim Ormsby in 2011, GroVia has long been a respected voice in our shared mission to make cloth diapering more accessible, sustainable, and beautiful. Over the years, we have admired the GroVia commitment to innovation, their loyal community, and their impact on modern cloth diapering. When the opportunity came to bring GroVia into the Kanga Care family, it felt like a natural fit, not to mention their product line being a perfect complement to the Kanga Care catalog without overlapping styles. We couldn’t be more excited!

  • GroVia products are here to stay. We will continue to support and relaunch GroVia’s most-loved products — including hybrid shells, soaker pads, boosters, and more. These essentials aren’t going anywhere, and many will be back on shelves very soon.
  • Improved restocks + accessibility. One of our top priorities is streamlining inventory to make it easier for you to get what you need, when you need it — whether you are shopping retail or wholesale. We are working behind the scenes to bring consistency and clarity to both product availability and fulfillment.
  • Same quality. Same care. We are not changing the GroVia you love. Materials, product function, and high standards will be maintained — with fresh packaging and a little Kanga Care sparkle.
  • Customer service support will now be managed by Kanga Care. That means you’ll get quick responses, real-time help, and thoughtful support from the same team that’s helped Kanga Care families for nearly 20 years. You can reach us anytime via our web site chat, email, Facebook, Instagram, or local in Golden, Colorado.
  • GroVia accounts will still work. If you have shopped with GroVia in the past, your customer history and loyalty will be respected. The GroVia website will remain as is and restocked with product as inventory builds.
  • Your voice matters. If you have questions, product requests, or feedback — please share it! This is a community-led chapter, and your voice will help shape what’s next.

  • Please brjng back dream-eze fitteds! They were the perfect fit, and side-snap fitteds are so hard to find now. I’d hoarded 24 in each size over many years, and lost them all when my mom died. She was storing them at her house for us. I promise to buy them if you make them!

  • I’ve only recently come into the cloth diapering world and it feels so right. I found out about Grovia through the reddit boards and people’s feedback and it was consistently on how amazing Grovia is. I’m truly impressed with the quality of the diapers, accessories, everything. I was then sad to learn about Grovia’s step back- though i understand. Next, realized Kanga Care was now owner of Grovia and plans to continue the line/items. It’s been a roller coaster BUT I am so excited to see more products! I’ve considered second hand hybrid inserts because I cannot find new anywhere. PLEASE PLEASE sell the inserts – cotton !! Excited for continuing to support the brand and hope the quality does not falter.
