They are too tight in the waist. My boys are at the beginning weight for the medium size according to the size chart.
I bought these for my special needs son who is having trouble understanding ***** training. He wears about 4t-5t in disposable training pants. I bought a large and they fit perfectly!!! The fabric is super cute and feels nice, and washes very well. I wish I had found these years ago!!! I plan on buying more!
Lil Learners are very soft and trim! They are not bulky at all. It is great you can use them as swimming diapers and training pants! I understand that they are not able to hold as much as a disposable pullup diaper since these are training pants that are more like underwear with insurance for a little accident or two. Definitely better and more absorbant than the regular cotton underwear trainers. The outer waterproof breathable TPU and hidden absorbancy has these Lil Learners set for success and I can't wait to use these for starting ***** training later. Great quality and design! I love Tokidoki prints and am so glad I added Lil Learners to our stash!
Fit great on my 25 lb 2 yo! She can pull them up and down and they have snaps on the side, which is great because we haven't mastered the dreaded ****, and pulling down her legs is less than desired. Great when we leave the house, because I don't have to change her entire outfit every time she misses and getting to the ***** quickly enough isn't always doable. Decent absorbancy, but it isn't a diaper, so if they decide to empty a full bladder (hello regression when we were sick!)it will leak at the legs. I wouldn't recommend for sleeping as it is not as absorbent as a diaper. She loves the toilet down and was super excited to wear them. They don't register as a diaper to her at all, though I was initially concerned about that since it feels the same on the outside and has snaps.
'So I love the print and they feel well made but I can't use them the way I intended because first I based the size on the weight of my child and bought the mediums as my son is 35 lbs, the low side of the medium range and they are really tight on him and he can't even pull them up without help also they leak. I bought them to mostly be worn at night for the occasional accident as he is fully ***** trained during the day we still have trouble at night but these just don't hold anything. When he has worn them he wakes up soaked and I have to change his clothes and sheets where as if I just used disposable diapers this wouldn't happen. With that I am very disappointed in the product that says will hold a heavy accident because it clearly does not. So other than being cute they are not worth the money spent The only use for them is as a swim diaper for my youngest when he's bigger I guess
