It's Time for Training Pants for Toddler

“Bye, bye diaper!” YAY! Finally, it is training pants for toddler time, and Kanga Care would like to congratulate all you parents! After years of being completely responsible for keeping your baby’s bottom clean, comfortable, and sanitary, it is time to start teaching him or her how to manage their own bodily functions. This is really your baby’s first big step towards independence, and it should be an exciting time for them and for you.

What Do You Need?

In order to make this a successful and easy process, you need the right tools: a special potty and some special training pants for toddler. You will also need lots and lots of patience and a sense of humor. Kanga Care may not be able to help with all of those, but if you have been using our one size cloth diapers, you will be happy to know we also have training pants made with the same care and quality as our EcoPosh cloth diapers.

EcoPosh Training Pants

Our EcoPosh training pants have an outer layer that is made out of recycled water bottles, and inner layers made from bamboo and organic cotton. They come in three sizes for the perfect fit, and are easy for toddlers to pull up! If you’ve been using EcoPosh Bamboo 6r Soaker, you should know that the newborn piece of the pad fits perfectly, and makes a great booster in the trainers for a little more absorbency during naps or overnight. These training pants come in the same five organic colors as our Ecoposh One size cloth diapers and Lil’ Joey.

Under The Nile Training Pants for Toddler

These training pants are soft and easy for your toddler to pull on. They come in two sizes: 12-24m for early starters fits 20-28lbs, and the 2-4yrs size fits toddlers 26-36lbs. Under The Nile Training Pants are made with the finest 100 percent organic Egyptian cotton. They come in off-white or four fun prints like waves, balloons, and stripes.

Start Out Easy

Of course you may still want to use cloth diapers for naps and nighttime; those times require more awareness and skill than your toddler will have at the beginning. Begin by introducing the wonder of training pants that your toddler can remove for themselves. Show them the potty and explain how to use it, but keep it light and like a game at first. Remember, your job as parents is to make the learning fun and let your child be successful in this first great stride towards independence. All of us here at Kanga Care celebrate with you and your toddler this wonderful step from babyhood to childhood, and we hope our training pants for toddler help you to say “bye bye diaper!”
